Spokesperson of Parliament Onsory Ghartimagar says, “Nepali Women’s Movement has opened many doors of positions to women. Though I am supposed to be the first person to get the chance, it is the achievement of entire women of the country.” According to her, she has got the position to make law and enrich the constitution. In a question “What shat should be done for women welfare? In the constitution?”, she answers, “This constitution is flexible. It can be amended as per the requirement of time. Now women should also bring some scientific logics to amend the constitution in their favor.” It is the time to see how she helps the women living in the country and abroad? Since a long, women were trying to grab a position in policy making level. “Women have gained the position in policy making. Now they should be involved in the high rank in many other government agencies. However, it will not be possible if the women do not intend to understand their level. They should understand existing legal provisions on their behalf; also, they should be alert to if the law is made without addressing women.” @Gurkha channel
